Neighborhood Teardown

This house on my block is scheduled for demolition. This type of teardown has become a common occurance in our community. Hopefully a tastefully designed home will rise from the wreckage of the old house. I am also departing from my traditional film based photography in favor of digital in order to be more timely in my postings.

It's worse than I thought

On the other hand, its worse than I thought. This house is 4 doors down from my first study and the word on the street is that this one is going going to suffer the same fate as its neighbor.

Things are moving along. The forms have been stripped and the waterproofing has been applied. Just need to back fill.

The forms are up and the contractor is getting ready to pour. It looks like they are going for the maximum allowable square footage.
